Shopping for an architect isn’t any fun because we are generally self-righteous about quality and routinely look down our noses at mass-produced items. Here are some can’t miss gift ideas sure to please any architect (except the jerky ones)

The only thing worse than shopping for someone who has everything is shopping for an architect. They suck to shop for because they are exceedingly particular and you know that they think your taste is garbage. So what is the well intentioned gift giver to do?

after grinding down the original concrete floors, we decided the best finish would be the simplest … just not the easiest.

Grinding and polishing my concrete floors technically started as an idea 4 years ago … but the time to do this properly came, and I’m not sure I was completely prepared for what that meant.

Architecture can be an incredibly creative field, wildly rewarding for those who like to think outside of the box … but there is also a role for those who love architecture whose predilections and skill sets lean towards the straight and narrow. There are times when I wonder “… which one am I?”
