Just as any self-respecting architect before embarking on a trip, I am doing some research. I am leaving for my trip to Spain in 18 days and in an effort to maximize my experience, I am studying up on where I am going.
I am happy to announce that I was under consideration along with 70 other architects and Interior Designers to participate in the “Reign in Spain Architecture and Design Tour 2011″.
Outdoor showers are more than just a way to rinse off after a swim. They are part of the experience of the activity – so shouldn’t some consideration go into how you create that experience?
This is week is a Dallas CASA Parade of Playhouses week. Today I wanted to focus on another playhouse that my office is doing – The Planter House – designed by our new associate Scott Taylor.
When I walk into my bedroom I can’t help but think that lurking around the corner is the ghost of the Captain who ran the pirate crew of the ship where these fixtures were clearly salvaged. He feels like his booty was stolen and he wants his stateroom lights back.
What did you want to be when you grew up? This is an easy question for me to answer because I have always wanted to be an Architect – even before I knew that the word architect existed
