Merry Christmas from Famous Architects

December 20, 2012 by Bob Borson 28 Comments

This time of year my office is flooded with greeting cards wishing us a ‘Happy Holiday’, ‘Merry Christmas’, or ‘Seasons Greetings’. Now that there are websites that allow people to pick a theme, upload their own photos and create a customized card, there seems to be even more that come in. Personally, I love them. It’s fun to see how people have aged over the last 12 months and hear about the adventures of their families and businesses. Going through my daily stack, I got to wondering …

What would the holiday cards from my favorite architects look like?

Well, that would be a lot of work and I had fun thinking about it, but during my hunt for photos, I started to wonder what sort of holiday captions could I put on these cards? If I drank more and got my office buddy Scott Taylor to join in, I’m quite sure these would be a lot funnier (and probably a lot dirtier – some days I wonder what is wrong with me..)

Come up with your own caption in the comment section at the end … you might come up with one that I think is so funny that I’ll send you a t-shirt for making me laugh.

Merry ‘last day of work before’ Christmas … I know you aren’t really working today.
