heard around the architectural studio #020

July 16, 2015 by Bob Borson 7 Comments

We spent three action packed days up in the woods of Northern Wisconsin working on a cabin project – nothing beats face to face design time with the clients. We got a lot of work done … and we drank a lot of local beer courtesy of our hosts.

After working through the design and sketching up some revisions, and before we headed back to Dallas, we made time to visit with the contractor – another North woods Wisconsinite – to review the progress of the drawings.

…

The people who live and work in northern Wisconsin are a unique group of folks, I’ll give you that.

Blob: These sketches are pretty close to what we are looking for … close but we were a few beers in by this point.

Contractor: So, you had this done before lunch?

The contractor doesn’t need protection … he’s from Wisconsin.
