Sometimes there’s benefits

Dear Reader:

You might remember that I have written some blog posts on my house that focus particularly on the crazy light fixtures that I have:

.

Mmmmm… that’s a beauty ain’t it? What about this one?

.

Yes … the Light of Lost Souls. Looks promising but it isn’t, not really.

I also haven’t made it any sort of secret which type of light fixtures I like to use when replacing “Ye Olde Sconces”:

Tolomeo Wall Shade Sconce

putting hands on hips, breathing deeply … trying to slow my heart rate …….

Yes, this is one sweet wall sconce and your’s truly will one day own 4 of these babies.

.

I was contacted by some folks from CSN Stores a few weeks ago – presumably because I had linked a photo to a website of theirs in the course of doing what I do here on Life of an Architect and I showed up on their radar. CSN Stores owns all sorts of websites where they carry modern furniture and modern light fixtures – including the particular light fixture I covet up above – the Tolomeo Wall Shade Sconce. They liked my site offered to throw a freebie my way – which was really nice. Something for me or something for my readers, my choice … and I choose you, the reader. As a result, I have a $75 gift certificate that can be used on anything you want to purchase from any of their sites. Since I torment people with my ridiculous stories and terrible grammar – I figured that maybe I should give something back (or at least let someone else give something back for me).

The real trick is trying to figure out what you have to do in order to be eligible to receive $75 worth of awesome ….. what to do, what to do….

Because this is supposed to be a reward for my readers, I’m going to keep it that way. Just leave me a comment telling me you would like this $75 gift certificate that I have to give away. That’s it – pretty simple don’t you think? The “entry” period will run through the end of the week (21 Jan 2011) and I will pick a winner at random using the Random Integer Generator 5000. Good luck and thanks for reading my site.

**UPDATE**

The registration period is closed and the Random Integer 5,000 has spoken … the winner is

Lucky Winner #22!!!!

That’s right, #22 was selected as the winner and that person is none other than Lore Toffer! I will contact Lore by email and work out the details but the Random Integer Generator 5,000 and I would like to thank you for playing along. Who know’s – maybe there will be more of these in the future (goodness knows I get enough offers).

Cheers
