Grinding and polishing my concrete floors technically started as an idea 4 years ago … but the time to do this properly came, and I’m not sure I was completely prepared for what that meant.

Living in your house while it is being remodeled is a tough thing to do – sometimes moving out is even tougher. We had to move everything out of the house to start the process of refinishing the concrete floors

Despite the fact that it is definitely showing its age, I love my house … apparently so does someone else. Someone wants to buy it and I’m not ready to sell it.

Wood ceilings and heavy timber beams painted white … sounds pretty nice doesn’t it? It brings to mind bucolic summer vacations and Vera Bradley catalogs.
